Why won't MyChart let me log in? ›

If you try to log in unsuccessfully too many times, you might be locked out of the account. In this case, you won't be able to reset your password yourself. For help resetting passwords and regaining access to your account, please reach out to your healthcare organization's MyChart support desk.

When can I see my test results in MyChart? Your test results are usually released to your MyChart account after your provider has reviewed them. This is generally within 1-4 days.

If you are experiencing problems such as being logged out immediately after logging in, an extension or add-on in your web browser may be causing problems with MyChart. Use the links below to learn how to disable extensions and add-ons in some of the most popular web browsers.

For all other password reset assistance, you must call MyChart Technical Support at 216.444.1740 or toll-free at 1.866.915.3383 for assistance. Passwords cannot be reset via email. After five failed attempts at signing into your MyChart account, the system locks the account. Please reset your password. After five failed attempts to reset your password, the system restricts all access. Please contact MyChart Support to reactivate your account.

If your organizations both participate, you should be able to link them by going to the "Link My Accounts" page in your MyChart account. View a list of participating organizations. For more information about Happy Together, go to this page.

All lab results are compared to a standard guideline for what is considered “within normal range.” These standards were developed as a guide but are not absolute. You will see an exclamation point (!) next to the result if it's outside of the normal range, but that isn't necessarily a cause for concern.

To withhold notes or test results from MyChart for this reason, you must have a reasonable belief that withholding the information from MyChart will substantially reduce a risk to life or physical safety of the patient or another person.

Remember there are many reasons why a healthcare provider will contact you after a medical test. If results are concerning, they may call you or have a receptionist call to schedule an appointment. 15 A healthcare provider may also call to assure you everything is okay or discuss any needed follow-up tests.

MyChart is EPIC's patient portal. MyChart is a secure means for patients to access parts of their health records through a web browser and cell-phone apps.

Is it safe to use MyChart? ›

Yes. myChart is secure, which means your information is safe and protected.

If you keep getting signed out

Make sure your cookies are turned on. Some antivirus or related software may delete your cookies. If your cookies are turned on, clear your browser's cache. Be aware that deleting your cookies may resolve the problem, but it will also remove your saved settings for sites you've visited.

If you're having trouble logging in, click the “Forgot Username?” or “Forgot Password?” link below the login fields for assistance. You will go through two-step verification to verify your identity so you can recover your username or password.

While you will no longer be able to access your account, your medical information and other associated data will not be deleted for legal requirements and to ensure that you continue to receive the best possible care from your healthcare providers. You will not be prevented from signing up for MyChart in the future.

My activation code does not work. What should I do? For your security, your activation code expires after a set period of time and is no longer valid after the first time you use it. If you still have problems, call our MyChart Patient Support Line at +1(800) 230-7526.

The parent or legal guardian can no longer access your personal health information on MyChart. However, adult patients (18 years or older) can grant proxy access to other adults. Ask your physician or care team for more information about parent or legal guardian proxy access for adult patients.

What do I need to do if I receive an Invalid Personal Information error? This error can occur when your personal information does not match what is currently listed in your medical record. If you receive this error, use the Contact Us link located in the error message to notify MyChart support.
