Description
This fifth-floor, two-bedroom, two-bath, 1171 sq. ft. condo has it all - panoramic ocean views from both bedrooms and the living room, an extra large balcony with table/chairs for outdoor dining, and relaxing in the ocean breezes. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sleeper sofa with an accent chair and a 50-inch flat-screen TV: the dining area seats eight, and the granite counter seats three. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and washer-dryer combo. The primary bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and a walk-in Grohe Rain Shower, and it has access to the balcony through a sliding door. The guest bedroom has twin beds, a flat-screen TV, an ocean view, and a full bath. The beach walk is just a few steps away, on the best beach on the island. Exterior amenities include a large oceanfront pool, spa, cabana, and tanning deck. PLUS, enjoy the world-class amenities of Palmetto Dunes, which includes three championship golf courses, a world-ranked tennis center, an 11-mile navigable lagoon system, leisure/bike paths, two hotels, restaurants, a general store, and a 24-hour security gate.

515 Barrington Court is located about 2 miles off hwy 278 through the South Gate and straight down Ocean Ln in a beautiful oceanfront villa rental complex. The beach is easily accessible from a boardwalk that connects to the pool deck area. The heart of Palmetto Dunes Resort with the Hilton Head Outfitters Shop, Palmetto Dunes General Store, Alexander's Restaurant, Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball center and more is just a little over a mile away.

WE loved the view and the condo was comfortable. The pool and hottub were not available due to leaking. There were some kitchen items such as knives that were broken.

This condo was very nice and has been updated. It has a great, unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony and bedrooms. It was clean and ready for check-in on time. It is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and beds. The sliding glass door to the balcony was very difficult to unlock and we could not get it to lock the entire week. That needs to be repaired but we reported it when we left. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with the fifth floor location - an absolutely beautiful full view of the ocean! Generally, the condo was lovely... had a large balcony with great furniture... indoor furniture was comfortable as well as master bedroom king bed. The master bathroom could have been cleaner - check the grout along the bottom of the shower door - needs a good cleaning! The second bedroom was lovely although we did not have the opportunity to use it. The kitchen needs an update. We did enjoy some meals at the condo and standard cooking utensils need to be updated... as well as the dishes and pots. We didn't know dogs were allowed as we had a neighbor whose dog barked quite a bit. The beach is beautiful... we loved walking along the shoreline and watching the dolphins swim by! We also enjoyed the great restaurants and had dinners at Scott's Fish Market Restaurant, Poseidon, and others places located all around the island. If you need food items there is Krogers, Publix, Whole Foods and Fresh Market for your needs. There is lots of shopping... lovely beach boutiques at Coligny and Shelter Cove and there is Belks, Tanger Outlets and more. Lots of activities including biking, kayaking, Dolphin Tours and more available to everyone! Enjoy Hilton Head Island!!

We had a great vacation. Our Condo was on the 5th floor with an ocean view. We were able to easily get to the beach for walks and ride our bikes on the golfing trails. Ate too much while we were there but it was very relaxing and quiet.

Overall great week with beautiful weather. Enjoyed biking, golf,pickle ball and walks on the beach. Accommodations had perfect ocean view. Overall nicely suited but a few minor improvements could be made. The balcony furniture had one piece that was completely ripped and unusable. The TV remotes did not work and I had to get batteries. The balcony screen door did not slide easily and the screen itself was damaged slightly. Appliances worked fine and the main bathroom shower was large and recently redone. Two separate bed/baths easily accommodate 4 guests. Parking was no problem. We would definitely go back to Palmetto Dunes.

This was a excellent rental unit. Very clean, great view, and well equipped. It was nice even when the weather wasn't as we could sit on the deck and watch the surf. Very calming and relaxing.
FAQ
Are linens and towels provided with my rental?
Bed linens and bath towels are provided in each rental. A standard supply of towels consisting of two bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth per person (not to exceed maximum occupancy). If the rental has a sleeper sofa, linens will be provided for the bed. Towel bundles and additional linens can be provided for a fee. Beach chairs and beach towels are not provided, please do not use home or villa linens as beach blankets.
Can I bring my dog?
Certified Service Animals are permitted year round in Palmetto Dunes with appropriate documentation. Emotional Support Animals and family dogs can stay in pet friendly villas and homes between October 1st and March 31st for an additional fee. Our pet policy only allows 1 dog with a maximum weight of 40 pounds and other restrictions may apply. The pet fee is $200 which is non-refundable. No pets are permitted in any of the vacation rentals between April 1 through September 30.
Can I drive my motocycle or RV in the resort?
No motorcycles, motorized scooters/skateboards of any kind are permitted. No RV’s, campers and trailers of any kind are not permitted in gate areas. Off resort storage arrangements must be made for boats, jet skis and kayaks. Also, no commercial vehicles with any type of company signage or wrapping allowed.
Does a guest visiting me need a parking pass?
Yes, everyone driving a vehicle within the resort will need a parking pass. Parking passes are limited for each villa and home,please call the Front Desk at 888-909-9566 with any questions. All reservations include 1 car pass for vacation rentals.

All reservations include 1 car pass for vacation rentals.Depending on the neighborhood/location, there are limitations on the number of additional parking passes that can be ordered.

If I am locked out or have an after hours emergency, who do I call?
You can call the afterhours emergency line, available7:00 pm – 8:00 am at 844-207-8221.
May we check in early?
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and could last until 6 p.m. Early check-ins are not available. If your vacation rental is ready prior to 4 p.m, the Front Desk will call the telephone number on file. For the guests that have opted in for Contactless Check-in, the door code is activated at 4 p.m.
What fees are included in my reservation?
Resort Fee:Provides for 24 hour security, 1 car pass for villas/2 car passes for homes, seasonal resort transportation and processing/administration fees.
Cleaning Fee:Your rental is cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival and upon your departure. Additional housekeeping, such as a mid-stay clean or towel exchange can be arranged for an additional fee.Please call the Front Desk at 888-909-9566 with any questions.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy-Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival by Guest for villa/condominium rentals and 60 days or more prior to arrival for private home rentals, will receive a refund of any deposit paid, less an administrative fee of $100.00. Any other cancellation on the part of the Guest will result in the forfeiture of any and all deposits or payments, which will be retained by the Agent and Owner as liquidated damages.
However, cancellations made for ocean front homes (11 Armada, 18 Armada, 17 Brigantine and 9 Catboat) will be as follows:
a. cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of any deposit paid, less an administrative fee of $250.00;
b. cancellations made 31 – 59 days prior to arrival will forfeit half any deposit paid;
c. cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will forfeit entire amount of any deposit paid.
Guest agrees that if the premises are made unavailable due to circ*mstances beyond Agent's control, including but not limited to damage or change of ownership, Agent shall make its best efforts to make available substitute accommodations. If for any reason substitute accommodations cannot be secured on behalf of Guest, Agent's liability shall not be greater than the amount of Guest monies and deposits held by Agent in respect to Guest's reservation set forth in this agreement. Guest may not sublet or assign this Rental Agreement without the express written consent of Agent.
Where do we check in if the Welcome Center is closed?
If you will be checking in after business hours, you will be assigned a locker in the After Hours Check-in Area. The lockers are located adjacent to the front door of the Welcome Center and signage will direct you to the location. Your Welcome Packet will contain your car pass, door code and other resort information. A cell phone number and email address will be needed by all guests checking in to the resort. A locker will be assigned to each guest arriving after hours. A pass code will be given to access the locker. For guests that know ahead of time that they will be arriving late, please emailfrontdesk@palmettodunes.com.
Where do we check in?
Check-in is at the Front Desk in Welcome Center located at 4 Queens Folly Road, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29928. Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and could go until 6 p.m. Contactless Check-in, for the guests that have opted in, can bypass physical check-in at the Front Desk. Your Welcome Packet contains car pass(s), door code and other resort information – the door code in the packet is activated at 4 p.m.
Why are there restrictions with the spa and pool heat?
The spas and pools can beheated June through October for an additional fee.The date parameters are part of the rental agreement we have with the owners. Theheatpumpthat is used in the private homes pulls the air from the outside and uses that toheatthepool, it does not generateheat. During the fall, winter and spring the temperatures usually dip below 50 degrees and essentially make theheater unusable. An additional fee of $150 will be applicable for last minute requests (within 3 weeks of arrival) last minute spa/pool heat request may result in a special trip charge.

Will I have access to a swimming pool?
Each villa neighborhood within Palmetto Dunes has a swimming pool. You will have access to the pool(s) in the neighborhood of your villa. Due to occupancy limitations, you are only allowed to use the neighborhood pool in which you are staying. If you are staying in a private home, you will have access to that spa and pool only.
