We have stayed at “Stay salty” 3 different times now, and it has always been a wonderful experience! It is always so clean and well maintained. Everything we could think of was provided for us! This is absolutely at the top of my list for places to stay!

We really appreciated the beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and beach towels provided. They were all great quality. The house was super clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was the perfect size to swim with our kiddo. We really enjoyed it!

The house and amenities were great- everything you need and more. Super clean, organized and beautifully decorated. We played all the board games, did some puzzles and borrowed books from the “library”. The pool was used everyday and my kids favorite. The views are even better in person. All the extras made it super easy to enjoy the vacation- beach towels, chairs, cart etc…. Location made all the restaurants, ice cream, beach, stores so accessible for walking. Highly recommend!

Great spot for our family - close to the beach, nice view of the bay from the two porches, plenty of space for our us and our 4 kids, amenities were awesome (beach toys, towels, wagon, games, stocked kitchen), walking distance to grocery store, dining, activities. Beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay!

Read all the great reviews before booking, and kind of took it as a challenge to find something to critique. We could not. Absolutely loved this property! Owners were great about communicating important details to consider. They are also so thoughtful in what they provide with kayaks, beach chairs, towels, etc. Kitchen is very well stocked. Pool was a big hit, and the view of the bay is incredible. It’s just a short walk to the amazing beach and to multiple places to eat, shop, and rent stuff. It was the peaceful, quiet, beautiful setting that we were hoping for. The only exception was the live music from Paddy’s you could hear most nights … but it was not too loud or too late, so we just enjoyed it! Absolutely recommend this as highly as any VRBO we’ve ever stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stay Salty. The location was wonderful, we really enjoyed being close to Patty's bar. We put the kayaks in over at Journeys rentals next to Pattys and it was perfect Kayaking in the bay. We liked that the location was central and you were able to walk to the beach and to the stores. The house was great, nice and clean. The house was very equipped for all our needs. If we needed something, we shopped at the piggly wiggly , also convenient. The beds were very nice and the open layout of the kitchen and living room made it nice to talk and still cook. The pool was heated for a fee, we swam every day and it was nicely lit for night swims, there was a nice selection of chairs to sit in. There were many beach chairs and towels to use. The grill was a park style grill, it would have been nice to also have a gas grill to cook some other things outside. We got our steps in using those stairs each day, they did not bother me but if you can not handle stairs this would not be the place for you. Lynn was very prompt to answer and questions and concerns that we had about her home. We would definitely stay here again. The location and the home were wonderful!

Family trip for a long weekend and we had a great time. The property was perfect and the owner was incredibly pleasant. We had an amazing time and will be staying again.

A great place to call your home away from home! Kitchen was supplied with all necessary appliances, dishes to prepare a full meal or just a snack. Living area provided plenty of games and videos for the everyone. Beautiful decor with comfortable chairs, couch and comfy throws.The swimming pool was a big hit with the young ones and their parents. We appreciated all the towels, chairs, umbrellas that were there for us to enjoy.Bedroom rooms and baths all clean and ready for us.

This is our second time visiting SGI and staying at this home. It’s perfect for families. There is plenty of space, the pool is great, kayaks are in perfect working order and easy short walk to bay to look for crabs and enjoy the peaceful water. The beach isn’t crowded and is also a short walk. Plenty of chairs, beach wagon and towels. Don’t pack a thing! Lynn does a wonderful job prepping her home for her guests. It’s so easy to relax knowing she’s done everything. Thank you! We’ll be back soon!

The house was absolutely perfect! Tucked away in a quiet corner with beautiful bay views, but close to everything! By far the cleanest, most well stocked house we have ever rented. We packed light hoping the house would have everything we needed — it had everything and more!! Thanks for making our first trip to SGI a great one. We will be back!

This was our 4th summer at Stay Salty. Repeat business is a sure sign of a great product. This house has ruined us on expectations of other places. This house has everything you need and even things you didn’t know you needed. Beach chairs, kayaks, towels, cookware…you name it, Stay Salty has it. And to top it all off…the owners are terrific! Responsive, knowledgeable, attentive. You literally couldn’t ask for more. I cannot rate this house highly enough!

Very clean, well stocked house with a lovely view of the bay. Short walk to the beach, ice cream and Paddy’s with nightly music (which you can hear from the house as described). We flew to Florida and appreciated the beach toys and equipment- including beach towels. Heated pool was in great shape and good temperature for early March. Love the laid back vibe of St George Island and look forward to return visits.

Having three beds or sleeping for four on a floor with no bathroom is a bit of a drawback for older folks

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Perfect spot with a beautiful bay view. Plenty of cookware to make a full Thanksgiving dinner. Heated pool was a nice touch. We can’t wait to get back to the island.

My family was celebrating at my moms birthday and we picked the perfect place to stay! It was our first time in St. George and I hope it won’t be the last nor the last at this property! We loved the house and the location and the helpful information about the island that was provided at the house. The property is a block from the grocery store and just a couple of blocks to nearby restaurants. The beach is five minutes away. And the pool is perfect for cooling off after walking around. Lynn, the property manager, was delightful to work with and helped make our stay even more special. .

The perfect location in one of the most relaxing places in the US. Walking distance to every restaurant on the island, a 3 minute walk to the beach. An impeccably maintained private pool and view of the bay side of the island that you could watch the sun go down on while listening to live music from the restaurant 2 buildings over. The hosts were incredibly responsive and even went out of their way to furnish a high chair and pack’n play for our 1 year old. My entire family had a great time. I’d highly highly recommend staying at Stay Salty

You could ask for more from a VRBO but you’d be crazy to do so! This is our 3rd visit to Stay Salty. Repeat business is the best compliment I think. This house has everything you need. The hosts are fantastic and very responsive. Wish I could give it 6 stars! We will be back next year!!

We vacationed at Stay Salty with our children. It was our first time to SGI. It’s one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. Lynn and Chris have taken the role of truly hosting their guests. Every detail is thought of. Stay Salty really feels like a home, not some beach rental with random items put in the house. It is well stocked with a kitchen providing ample dishes/utensils/cooking needs, more than enough linens, well equipped beach items like umbrellas, chairs, sand toys and more. The walk to the beach is right around the corner and the cart was especially helpful. The kayaks are in great shape and we enjoyed taking them out to enjoy the beautiful shore line. The pool and warm water outdoor shower is an amazing amenity. Grill, outdoor food prep area with all needed grilling tools…What more you ask for? There are chairs and tables everywhere to take in the amazing view of the bay. The home’s location offers a lot of privacy yet is in walking distance to everything. We’ll be back!!
